service pack 1 or service pack 2 download for xp pro

dear friends,

i use dial-up connection in order to connect to the internet..............
i wana download sp1 or sp 2 for win xp pro............ so is there anyother way to download it from a broadband internet cafe (i use sify i-way),plz reply..............

the best thing if you can wait is to order the free cd for sp2 that microsoft provides from its website.. then also if you wanna download then download sp2... or use autopatcherxp provided in the august cd or dvd of digit... it will do the same patching that sp2 does...

U can order the SP2 CD from the MS site..i personally got the CD delivered to my doorstep by courier in less than 15 days....

But today (4th Sept,2005) wen i checked the site from where i got the CD....it said this.....

SP2 is available in Digit Dvds .. I would recommend you to download Autopatcher instead of SP2 .. That will be a better bet ..

well if u wanna downlaod service packs

get sp2 first

autopatcher is aslo recomennded
