If you are talking of IE 6 on Windows XP head straight to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378

You can try IE7 Beta if you are using Genuine Windows... It can be downloaded from the Microsoft website

You may not need to re-install. Just try a repair.

But NEVER TRY TO UNINSTALL IE  It may screw up your system.

It is still not available freely for download as you said. It can be downloaded only by users of MSDN.

Adding to that, IE7 is a patch type installation and needs IE6 installed !

How is IE 7 . Does it match Firefox or does firefox still rule .

Thanks for the advice but I will not be going in for IE 7 till it completely releases.

Anyway I'm mostly on Firefox, its just a few things that Firefix does'nt accept properly that requires me to go to IE.

Anyway thanks

Don't go to IE 7. it crashes your system often and is not compatible with IMs. Also it does not stand up to Firefox. Firefox still rules. Stick to IE 6 SP1 on XP SP2 with all updates.
