Writer Problem

Got a LG writer in an external drive case which I use through the USB port.Now whenever I want to write something the "choose recorder" drop down list always gives "Image recorder" and no other options.Tried in many machines but same prob.Using Nero.Plz help.

Ya its been detected,Actually it was workin fine a few days back.This prob. started suddenly.

Check the connections.See if any file is corrupted.

1)loose connections
2)driver not being detected i.e driver problem probably a hardware failure
3) try to use it with the com port
( if it supports the com feature)

4)os ? (mention pevious and next one)

Try with some other version of Nero s/w.
I also faced such problem once and it solved my problem.
So pls try some other version of NERO...

Haven't tried any other softwares but tried other versions of nero.Nothin doin.

This happened with me when Winaspi.dll file was corrupted. Try other softs or re-install windows or try on other OS.

probably the nero installtion is corrupt

u need to reinsatll it with the latest version

or try any other softie like easy cd creator and then tell is it worjs or not

well does the rom perform other functions properly reading disc etc
if yes then

i guess reinstalling or upgrading nero will do fine as mentioned
