google for a precise help over it and its a damn sexy topic to work upon. n a bit more practical than library/hospital systems.

u need to take access permissions into cnsidertaions.

Inventory Systems with multiple godowns, branches and depatch points.

Alternatively, a PIM with pretty features or a PHP/MySQL guestbook (too simple once you know the concepts)
