saving webpage
Earlier i use to save webpage by using the SAVE AS option in the file menu. Now when I use this option the webpage saves but I the pictures are not available(saved) as there is a blank space in place of pictures. I use opera 8.0.2. with zone alarm pro 6 and norton antivirus 2005 (all with default setting).

Eariler, I guess, you should have used IE to save web pages. Now that you are using Opera, in the Save Dialog box, select "HTML file with images" from the "save as type" drop-down box. Now you will also be saving images.
Also make sure that u save it in a new folder, because opera saves all the images and script files in the same folder as the HTML file. (DAMN. I hate this).

Thank you for ur reply but I save it as html file and always in a new folder but still the problem stays. Do I have to change any setting in zone alarm or norton antivirus as this problem arised after I had update them( I do update regularly)?

but I the pictures are not available(saved)
|
1) you are using the operas default picture blocking "show no images" or "show cached only"
2) reinstall opera
3) disable zone alsarm and norton adn then try to save
4)post what happened now

and one more thing this problem is consistent with all the browser that I have.(IE. Opera, Firefox, Mozilla) actually installed other two to see if the problem still exists.
