plz help me, how to change user name???

dudes i have doubt, can anyone tell me how to change my username in windows xp,it is not the one which comes at the start up or at the start menu. the username first created when i installed windows xp. i have tried to change in registry but in vain....

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts ..
First create another Username and give it Admin privilages ..Then login with that Id and delete this one ...
