Default gonna buy a new comp...plz help

I am going to buy a new comp...budget is 30k... here are the specifications which i WANT...

P4 3 ghz with HT technology and 1mb L2 cache
512 mb ram
40/80 gb HDD

Is it ok? Which graphics shud i buy?? and what will be the approx price of the machine...with optical drives etc...

512 MB ram cost you around 2600-4500 depending upon brand you go for.Also it depends upon type of ram(DDR, DDR2) & it frequency.

As for hdd price there is litle difference between price of 40 & 80 GB.
you can go for either of samsung or seagate
I purchased 80gb seagate for 2600/-

selection of graphics card depends upon your budget.If you want to spend more than rs3500 than you must go for it otherwise onbard grphics will we fine.

Hey guys Im planning to buy a new comp too, with the same budget. Can you tell me if onboard graphics have hardware T&L?And what is its VRAM?

Also which PCIex enabled motherboard is good.

Blitz Krieg dude please tell me when you get your comp and the specs and total price.
