Upgradation

Hello,

I wan't to upgrade some components of my PC as follows

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (64 Bit )
Motherboard*
Power supply*
512 mb ram hynix (or 1 gb)
160 gb sata hdd seagate
Sony DVD r/w
sony dvd drive
pixel view tv tuner with remote

ps: * I don't know more about motherborads and power supply
but I need atleast 7.1 channel onboard audio, onboard vga, want to attach two hdd's both sata and non sata simultaneously , attach two of sony drives,
Motheboard supporting power supply,

Need it's warranty details and prices.

Both 7.1 ch & onboard graphics wont be possible. But go for RS480M2. Specs are pasted below:

4 DIMMs w/ DDR 400 upto 4 GB
1 PCI-E 16X; 3 PCI; 8 USB
6 Ch. Audio; 10/100 LAN; IEEE 1394; RAID; SATA; ATA133
ATI Radeon Integrated Graphics, 1 x S-Video port, 1 x Composite TV-Out
Live Update

Its 939 pin board. Looking at yoru requirements, it looks like the best thing you can buy at 5000/-.

for DVD rw go for benq DW1640, if possible in RAM go for either Kingston or Transcend

MSI Rs 480 isnt a good overclocker and it may give some prob if Nvidia gfx cards are added later but if u r not a overclocker nor have any plans of adding any (nvidia )gfx cards then this mobo may be suited for u .

who says 7.1 channel audio doesnt come integrated??
all nforce4 based mobos have 7.1 audio ....realtek ALC 850 codec or the MSI nforce4 mobos with creative sb live ...

Go for a Gigabyte motherboard.Its really good and not very costly.

WHOA dude, please go through my post once again. What I am trying to tell is that you cant get both 7.1 & onboard graphics card.
