strange spyware prob

i use limewire pro 4.2.6....now i find its shared folders forever cluttered with files like "harry potter crack" "counter strike crack" etc etc. Even after deleting them, they reappear. how to solve this prob?

try reinstallin ,looks like u got a spyware installed,
use SpyBot/MS Anti spy ,etc for clearin that,
Also, use a firewall and configure it....

Its the W32/Mexer-E worm and not spyware.

Download Ewido and install it. Then run, you will receive a warning message saying "Database not found", click "OK" for this. Next in the main screen, click "Update" and click "Start Update". After the update process, click on the "Scanner" button in the left menu, then click on the "Start" button.
If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "Clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.
