hi,

i got a DVD writer 2 yesterday and had it in my friend's house for couple of days. he had by chance disabled the drive by going to properties and changing the option "use this drive (enable) option" to "disable". i then had it installed in my comp and nothing happens now. i hav connected the powersupply and datacable. but it doesnt get detected in windows. however, i am able to see the device in the bios screen. how can i enable this device back. pls help me.thk u

Even if any device suddenly goes off, jus refresh and scan for new hrdware and it will pop again...
