Default Automatic header and footer insertion


Hey, i have some 200 word documents on my comp
n i want to insert the same header and footer in every page of each of the documents
i use office 2000
how do i do this in one go. i dont want to open each and every doc and do it manually.

Any suggestions??

THis should do it.

1. Choose View > Header and Footer.

2. Click the Switch Between Header and Footer button .

3. Click the button again to toggle back to the Header. Enter the text there.

4. Click the Switch Between Header and Footer button to move to the footer. Enter the text there.

Thats all , what u enter in the header and footer will be visible in the other pages.

he is not aksing for the pages

he is asking for 200 documents

remember one document can contain 100 pages


so 200 documents will contain 200x100=20000 pages

he want to do al 200 .doc files at once

Ok, for that the method is to MERGE THEM TOGETHER as in

Look under tools, merge documents

hey guys,
the 200 docs dat i have, have one page in each
After i merge them, and add the headers and footers, how do i save each page as an individual doc afterwards?
i dont want to waste 2 much time doin dis.

There must be some way out

am i seeing double ?
well theres no way i found for batch insertion ofheaders / footers..
try creatin a macro magic to do that....
