winnies run at 1T when using two memory modules...at DDR400
on populating all four mem slots using double sided modules the memory controller cant run@2T at 400 MHz (fixed in the venice and above cores..)

What are these 1t/2t timings? my starlite(Hynix d43) ddr400 modules run at 1t memory timings with 95% efficiency, at 2t with 83% bandwidth efficiency

1T is quite faster than 2T (around 1000MB/s difference in bandwidth @ 400MHz)

well read it up urself if u have the tempo for it
basically its the time(clock cycles) the memory controller waits before issuing another command (read/write) to the RAM chip ... in 1T mode (u can set it in the bios-->ram timings/latency settings ) a command can be issued faster resulting in greater memory bandwidths..

Has anyone actually themselves measured this? 1T/2T and other ram timings except MHZ rating should not show a greater than 10% difference between the tightest to the loosest... You need the loosest for max overclocking... So a 400MHZ DDR with 100% efficiency should give around 6000MB/Sec transfer rates... In the very best cases which is not possible... Normal is around 4500MB... IE 4000 for the loosest with 5000 being the tightest ratings... Difference between 1T and 2T is less than 2%.

Single channel DDR 400 has a max theoretical bandwidth of 3.2 gbps. Mine hits 3.040 at 1t timings. Dual channel has a max theoretical bandwith of 6.4 gbps but the efficiency suffers a lot and the max i've ever come across is about 5.6 gbps. I don't know from where you got those numbers

Thats intresting because
CPU CPU Clock Motherboard Chipset Memory Read Speed Athlon64 3500+ 2200 MHz MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum nForce3-Ultra Dual PC3200 DDR 6030 MB/s CPU CPU Clock Motherboard Chipset Memory CL-RCD-RP-RAS Latency Athlon64 3500+ 2200 MHz MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum nForce3-Ultra Dual PC3200 DDR 2-2-2-5 45.6 ns Which is close to the theoritical max. i get scores of 5600 mbs/ sec on my nf4 sli chipset...this is when running@ 2.5-3-3-6 2T ... running on 1T would give me scores closer to the theoretical max i believe....

You might have problems with 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2T, you could try 2-3-3-6 @ 1T or 2.5-3-3-7 @ 1T. Maybe even 2.5-3-3-8 @ 1T. Those are some tight timings for over clocking. |

yeah 200 fsb...5600 mb/s read speeds and 2100 mb/s write speeds (using everest benchmarks)...
i tried very loose timings even 3-5-5-10 1T but memtest always fails at anything below 2T command rate
