I OWN A P4 2.8 GHZ. INTEL 865GV,256 MB RAM,4OGB HARD DISK, I WOLUD LIKE TO UPGRADE MY PC TO 120GB AND 1GB OF RAM I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER TO KNOW WHETHER MY PC WILL HOLD SUCH TYPE OF CONFOGURATION IF NOT COULD YOU TELL THE MAX COFIGURATION THAT MY PC WILL HOLD I WOLUD LIKE TO BUY A NVIDIA GRPHICS CARD AND IT SHOULD NOT COST MORE THAN 6K. FINALLY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER MAYA4.0 R 3D STUDIOMAX REQUIRES 15GB OF VIRTUAL MEMORY.PLEASE HELP ON THESE PROBLEMS. THANK YOU.[/b]

R u planning to buy a SATA hard disk ??

I think its best to consult ur Motherboard manual to see whether it supports SATA and I gb of RAM

865 gbf supports max of 4 GB ram
120 GB has to be SATA (recommended, better technology)

maya thing is not right i suppose 'cos i have run 3ds max on my comp n it never asked me for...

you wudnt feel the difference unless of a SATA hdd unless its a 160 Gb
