Default problem regarding monitor


hey,
when i assembled my new pc.my monitors starts well initially but after 2 or 3 restart monitor is not switching on.but after some hour it is getting on.this repeats........... my monitor is a new viewsonic 17inch crt monitor(e71f).please help me out.............

I cant understand it completely, u say that after a restart the monitor goes off ?
Also, u say that u wait an hour for the monitor to get on ?

Try reinsatllin the monitor, graphic drivers and check the connexions of the cables....
Also, try lowerin ur resolution to a lower rate along with ur refresh rate...

U said ur PC is new, don't think too much, it should be in warranty period...do i need to say more?
