U want to change file names ?
Press f2 to rename a file at a time...
Try these too...
http://www.mediachance.com/free/renamer.htm
This is a cool one :
http://www.123renamer.com/faq.htm (to use , instructions)
http://www.123renamer.com/download.htm (to download)

More :
http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/sy...ilerename.html

Hope it helps !

http://www.1-4a.com/rename/download.htm

the concept is called batch rename.
when u want to count 1,2,3 u need to use the "ADD LEAD" field.

hope this helps as its universal for any renamer software. XP has no integrated feature. Phostoshop has it but only for images.

Renamers have wide varity of options to rename. so they r worth downloading.

U cud Try Flexible Renamer .
Link : http://www.buzzys.net/flexible.html

Changing the name of a large group of files individually can be a real pain in the butt. You may find that files transferred from your digital camera to your hard drive are in order, but their names consist of a group of letters and numbers that usually don't identify the pics themselves. Plus, after you transfer the files from your camera and delete them from it's memory, the next set of pics taken with your camera can have the same name as the files you've just uploaded. Different pictures, same name!! Flexible Renamer by Naru will take a batch of files and give them the name of your choosing. Here, take a peek and dive in:

Quote:
Flexible Renamer is easy to use. Just pick a directory where your files are on the left, select the work that you want to do to your files from the middle, and check in the right window to make sure that your files are going to be renamed and directed the way you wish. Click 'Rename' and volia, your finished. The program is really fast too as I have changed up to 175 photo file names in one session with a total time used at approx. 15 seconds. As shown, you can change the name in any number of combinations such as the Date Time (default), strings (words that will be on all files), adding numbers to the beginning/end of any string plus more. You can set the number of digits in the filename (excellent for naming over 100 pics to keep them in order, such as 001!), and even the start number. This is very handy if you are combining bunches of pics from different directories to one directory. The window can be expanded to show you quite a bit of information including a list of the files after they have had their names change. The column's are adjustable, as are the individual windows for each specific area.

Along with all of the above goodies, Flexible Renamer can also copy and rename to another folder, has an undo feature, allows the use of wildcards, and has a multiple file filter. Here's a pic of the 'context menu option' window with all of the possible settings:

Is there ne reward for the members with highest posts?
Its a very common problem of double posting...
It happenes due to slower net speed.
Many times we click on Post Reply button and nothing happens, so we click on it again, but actually that post has already been posted.
Thats why it causes double post problem.
And I think there is an option of Recount the posts and many things in Admin CP.
And I'm sure that mods / admin make use of it time to time...
SO just Chil Chil

Very true!!!
Thats what i wanted to tell here.
Why ne1 will want to increase his total no. of posts?
It happens only due to net problems, like speed...

How can u delete ur posts in Edit mode?
There is no option to delete the posts.
I can only see the Delete button on my last post, which must be the last post in that thread.
If i try to delete some posts, after which som1 has posted his post, then it gave ERROR, like U can't delete already answered post or something like that...

Thats what I mentioned in my previous post.
We can delete only those posts which r the last post in the thread.
We can't delete posts, if some1 has posted ahead it.

PS: Mods / Admin, why this restiction has been set? Pls allow us to delete our posts, But members can be restricted to delete the first post of the thread, so that the whole thread can be saved for deletion...

allright. relax buddies. we shd be making the forum a cool place to b instead of posting something against somebody. well if anybody has got any damn problem against anybody, he/she needs to report it as PMs and not as postings in a query.

'cmon these have to be kept in mind. everybody. and chill, digit has enough space to withstand postings, be it 1400 or 5000. right? and about how appropriate a post is, mods have always their eyes open n they have spl badges. so evybody chill.
