Default A HUGE Problem !!


Recently I have started facing a problem in my PC. I can log on to the net but whenever an application uses the net, an error screen opens. For example in Internet Explorer, when I click on "Details", it shows:

Which OS u r using and if it is XP have u installed latest service packs.i.e sp2

I'd had these prob bfore and I formatted my drive and reinstalled the entire OS again .... It worked perfect after that.

Thats Extreme, but try reinstalling internet explorer from the components menu...

exactly. i agree.
there is some prob in IE module. reinstall it (may be newer ver)

and if u havent tried Mozilla Firefox, give it a try to know which one suits u. a must try browser.

Doods, why bring in the fox here? He must have his reasons to use IE. And that is besides the point.

It means that the error occurs whenever I try and use ANY application that uses the net (it also includes Firefox etc.)

And I am using Windows 98 as well as XP Pro. SP2 edition but the problem is only occuring in Windows 98.
