Default How to convert DVD Movies TO VCD

Hello,

I have a DVD with 5 movies on it. I can play the movies on my pc cause I have dvd writer but not on the tv as I only have a vcd player. I wanted to copy the movies on to cds without much loss of quality. For this, I think I will have to split each movie & write onto 2-3 cds. But I don't know how to split each movie into 2-3 dat files.

Please help me. I hope my problem is clear.

Thank you & have a nice day.

Creating VCD's with subs:
After installing ffdshow, add the path to the subs file in ffdshow configuration menu. Once the path is added, TMPGEnc will automatically display the subs that's already loadeded in ffdshow. Some ppl use TMPGEnc to convert avi files to vcd compatible format. Also in TMPGEnc environmental settings, priority for direct show should be increased to 2.
THen i guess, u can write in the DVD , but it will come up as a VCD format only but u will get great quality as the previous .avi file u had.

Hope this is the thing that you wanted to know..
