Default Yahoo Messenger 7.0.0.426 Help

Hello, I recently installed version 7.0.0.426 of yahoo messenger. I use Norton Personal Firewall 2005. I am able to logon yahoo messenger in safe mode of windows (when the firewall is inactive), but not in the normal mode. How should I configure my firewall? Thank you.

I tried it earlier, no use Earlier I used to use version 7.0.0.242 and it worked fine. I had selected the no proxies then.. I reckon the firewall should be configured. I am not sure of the inbound and outbound ports which needs to be allowed..

Before checking for blocked ports I would suggest first check whether the program[yahoo here] itself has been assigned to be blocked in the Norton Program Control or something similar.
Just search under block programs & change it if it has been indeed blocked.
