Default Problem with DivX Converter


Hi,
When I try to encode a DVD file(".vob") using Divx Create(Converter) 6.i am getting the error message "The DivX Converter cannot encode the input file '(path of the file)' because it is missing the MPEG2 Codec"
I have encoded the same file using "Dr DivX 5" .I have installed the Mpeg 2 codec ...but no use..

Olease help me....

Looks like you're missing Mpeg2 decoders. Install a trial version of WinDVD, PowerDVD and try again.

install any free codec pack and ur problem is solved!!!

I have installed the Mpeg 2 codec ....and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack....but i am getting the same error message

try reading the documentation...you have to purchase a separate mpeg2 plugin specifically for the divx converter...don't dump Dr. DivX yet

Can you playback DVD movies?

To convert DVD movies into divx use Gordian Knot Rip pack. Every pgm in this pack is free.

try going to torrentspy and searching for a pack for divx creator pro, will be around 20 megs
