Help Me Build A Site

Hi guys I needed Help in creating a site of mine
I dont want it very large.ill need a little help
Firstly Suggest me the best user friendly software to use(for a bigginer)
and a site where i can get its EBook to learn how to use it!
Next tell me a site where i can host my site for free and Main thing HOW TO UPLOAD MY SITE?

Ill be very grateful if u cud help me wid this!

hmmm
well u can use geocities .. it has a feature for novices ..
it'll ask u questions .. and build the site for u
atleast it had it years back dunno now
for other things theres macromedia dreamweaver .. its real good and no knowlege of html require ..
if u wanna learn html .. there are lot of books there. . and it is a pretty good language
u can even look for tutorials on the net ..
ill look for ebooks for u a lil later ..
as for uploading u just need to use the uploadin feature in hosting site like geocities ...

theraven is rite....geocities is good and follow the instructions on how to build a webpage...see the page for links. if u have a yahoo account already, u can use dat same acount name 2 login. ur website will b called www.geocities.com/USERNAME
