Default joystic needed...which one?


I am a trinee pilot so i need a good joystic for playing flight simulators...so i needed help from u guys...just let me know some models and prices too if available...tnx

hi...seems like u r serios.

i would suggest the sidewinder range from microsoft..

also consider the range of joysticks from logitech...they too r good.

for prices, better check out the local market.

Joysticks are hard to find in India. I use a Logitech Wingman Extreme (with twist handle) that I found on eBay. Got it as I didn't find anything better. Previously I had a Logitech Extreme 3D Twist which was better.

Get one with a "twist" handle or you'll not have rudder functionality.

If you're getting it from overseas, look no further than Saitek HOTAS

Almost bought one but dropped the idea as my baggage was already over the limit.

PS: Microsoft stopped making joysticks about 2 yrs back. So, I'd be wary of any Sidewinder on the market.

sidewinders are still vailable in the market , i saw some at landmark...
