pen drive problem !

Hi

I have a pen drive mp3 player 256 MB bought 7 months ago..
It was working fine till now ...But today if I want to delete any file from drive
it is giving error " Cant delete file :the disk is write protected"

How to solve this problem ?

PS: drive is not getting formatted by format command in DOS....showing same error...write protected.....but u can copy anything from drive ......

Probably its got a mechanism for write protection ... u know a small switch or something

No man it has never happened...also there is no such button

it is Fline mp3 player ...made in china

that file must have been in use then or if not then there is a write unwrite feature in the drive..check that out

Well there must be some switch like in floppy,
get the plug n play service started or use it on some other pc for results!

Ya i have kept pressed a switch HOLD ....oops
