The fastest defrag I ever seen. In a dual boot system with 98 & XP.
Defrag with Norton System Works speed disk from 98.
Simply fantastic. Nothing can beat it. Telling you after testing all other.
I simlpy cannot remove 98 from my system ONLY TO DEFRAG WITH NORTON SPEED DISK.

If ur talking about raw speed Norton Sys Works is better than O&O Defrag but the former is a real resource hogger
Also I dont know whether Norton supports background defrag which O&O does

well defrag at least once in a month or after you've installed something heavy on ur hard disk. you may also need to defrag when any program installs a lot of small sized files.

Basically, if u defrag after deleting a few dozen small files or one or two large files, you can be sure to have contiguous space for future installations.
Even if u were only using existing programs but not installed anything, defrag once every month or once your usage pattern/frequency of certain app changes. This will move the most frequently used progs to the front of the hdd for faster loading.

it depends on u... as for normal use... i personaly would say once in a week would be better option... & yes if u r in FAT32 then no matter what tool u use it gone take long time... much time in ur 160GB as well as 120GB... so better to switch to NTFS (if posseble...).... NTFS is way better/faster/more secure than FAT32.....
Beware OS before win2000 wont b able to view NTFS.... so if u r in winXP or 2k.... go for NTFS...
