I don't see any reason why you should change you're PSU. Do you have random reboots, blue screens, Windows freezing? No?

Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

Is it your computer that hangs often or your friends? Also If Im correct I believe the 6600 GT would outperform the 5700 LE anyday.

If you still need a good PSU . You could go one of those Antec Truepower SMPS (Overkill if you ask me) .I think another good one is Powersafe. I think a 300 W SMPS should be good enough but you might want to confirm with others.

And I definitely agree with Keith

Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

mine doesnt hang as of yet but if the psu blows out i dont want it take my graphics card along(this is my first card upgrading frm pro savage ddr 16 mb
onboard ).but i my xperince with zebronics isnt gr8.
and with regard to the vip psu getting it could be a problem since kunhar is its distirbutor doesnt seem to have a branch in chennai(ref.digit ad august 2k5).so is antec my best choice?also is 350w psu good enough?(i dont plan to upgrade until they make some directx 10 or 11 card).

Your system doesnt look like it would need anything more than 350 but you might want to check with others on this. There was a ost by someone stating the amount needed for each device and you could basically add them up or something of that sort in this forum. I tried search but I couldnt find it

The problem with estimating PSU requirement is that their nameplate ratings are often highly optimistic. The actual power consumed by your config should be less than 200W even when running at full stretch. So a good-quality 250W unit should be quite adequate.

Even if, as you said, the PSU blows, it's highly unlikely that it will damage your gfx card, though of course I cannot guarantee that.

I've helped several people upgrade their computers to configs with power requirements on the same level as yours using the original 250W PSUs. They're all working fine.
