Mine hard disk is not detecting

actually floopy disk was giving trouble
so i called service person to put new floppy drive

floopy drive and hard disk has very less gap less than 1 cm

he struggled to get floopy drive out
but hit many times to hard disk
computer power was not on that time

now hard disk is not detected

can i take all data back from hard disk
one person told there is 2 things in hard disk

PCB
Media

if PCB is gone than the data can be recovered by expert

please guide me
i want my 11-12 GB data back
I live in kalyan near bombay so any near place where i can go

give it to the service center such as seagate data recovery center

plug the cables properly

try the hard disk on another computer

Any hdd can take in more than just a few jabs at non-op time. He probably dislodged some cable. In the small probable case of hdd being kaput, ask the service man to have a look at it again or he will have to pay for damages.

i know to connect hard disk
i have connected hard disk more than 20 times i have started computer more than 20 times
but this hard disk is not detected

all other cd drive and hard disk is detecting
i even removed all 4 drives and connected only this hard disk but it is not detected

i have connected to another computer but not detected

i want to know approx money needed to get back 10 - 12 gb of data

i live in kalyan please tell me near by seagate data recovery center

my priority is data recovery only not anything now

i have installed temp hard disk
please tell what to select in bios hdd1 or hdd0

i have installed win 98 and can go to win explorer

but now when i booted agian computer wanted win 98 startup disk 2

i have instered win 98 startup disk 1 many times to install win 98
but what is 2 disk
also i saw temp ramdrive when i was gone in explorer

how to go to win98 now

the person is telling your media is very slow
so image is not complete

cant he recover 1 file by 1 instead of making image
i want all data back
maybe 50000 files

he says he can boot windows by my harddisk

they say media is bad

hard disk was return to me saying that media is slow and media is damage

can the data be recovered from it

if media is damage can i get some data from it

actually when i sent hard disk they told that,
on PCB some ic chip was gone so they replaced it and they can detect it and see my
files. but they told media was too slow to make image
they told first image is taken then only data is recovered . it cant be copied directly
(the files )
they told they have taken image but it is corrupted in the begining . so they will
not try again.
i told please help and recover some data.
they told ok we will try again.

now they are saying they cant detect hard disk as media is damaged.

now please help me, where they are professional.

if pcb is damaged then the data can be recovered. I live in chennai once i recovered around 5 gb of data from the samsung service centre. I think you better you contact the manufacturer of your drive.
