No the drive writes it sometimes but it fails mostly,

The buffer memory keeps changing....

If i minimize the window, the CD gets magically written but its a problem for me anyway...

you are saying if you minimize then the cd gets written, then try in other cd writing softwares.

try writing the cds at slower speeds

like 40X or less.

if that does not help then check that the led that blinks during writing is blinking ( maybe by mistake u r writing into an image file)

then get back to me again

1. write at slower speeds
2. shutdown any background programs that use HDD or a lot of ram
3. increaase the amt of ram used as buffer
4. change the location of temp folder of nero to a partition which is not a system partition

try these and get back with the results

thats not gonna help ur hardware buffer in any way but you may get a boost in performance and the rate of data transfer to ur cd drive from hdd will increase.
