Problem with CD-Recorder (samsung) URGENT !!!!!????
Problem with CD-Recorder (samsung):
When I try to burn a disc, the CD - Buffer level keeps jumping from 19-97%
(exaclink activated) and somehow after the burning process shows complete, there is no data on the CD, Its VERY Urgent for me to burn some FC4 cds
PLz HELP !

No the drive writes it sometimes but it fails mostly,
The buffer memory keeps changing....
If i minimize the window, the CD gets magically written but its a problem for me anyway...

you are saying if you minimize then the cd gets written, then try in other cd writing softwares.

yes but it takes 6 min instead of 2 min at 52x and still the buffer jumps...

try writing the cds at slower speeds
like 40X or less.
if that does not help then check that the led that blinks during writing is blinking ( maybe by mistake u r writing into an image file)
then get back to me again

1. write at slower speeds
2. shutdown any background programs that use HDD or a lot of ram
3. increaase the amt of ram used as buffer
4. change the location of temp folder of nero to a partition which is not a system partition
try these and get back with the results

by the way budy if u have samsung SW-252F then plz get it repaired or write it at no more then 16x
coz;
i have that stupi* *** writer and it is doing exactly what u says at high speed[samsung sucks big time]

Hullo !
Yep , i tried wat u said bout ram and all that but i can now burn succeessfully at 16x only, man what did i buy a 52x for ?

try defragmenting ur HDD
and one more thing try cleaning ur registry regularly with regcleaner

thats not gonna help ur hardware buffer in any way but you may get a boost in performance and the rate of data transfer to ur cd drive from hdd will increase.
