Covering Channel logos !!

This is the most common problem everyone faces ( All those who have a capture card ).The thing is i capture videos from channels like Viva and 102.5 Hit Channel ( Channels on the hotbird satellite ). The thing is that most of the channels on this satellite have the facility of telling you in advance which all songs will be played next.

This feature covers the black strips in the video.The scrolling text on the video annoys me and same does the channel logo. I want to cover these ads and channel logos with black strip. Is there any way i can do that ?

That's called a "dirty feed" which no one, especially other tv stations, can't ripoff without paying money to get a clean feed. Covering it up is possible by placing small black rectangle over the logo, but, in case of Tv, that would give it away that it is a ripoff.
