can i write cd on dvd writer

I only having a cd- rom in my system & want to buy the dvd cum cd writer, can i write cd on dvd writer, pleaase suggest me for best thing in market

Yup... u can write CD's also...good ones are Samsung...LG...etc in order Sony is also good

The best ones are BenQ 1620/1640 and Sony dru 720-b (IMO).

And yes you can write CD on a DVD burner..
