Default What is this....?


My conf:

AMD-64 3000+ (939 socket)
MSI RS480M2-IL motherboard.
512 MB - Single DDR Transend RAM 400 FSB (PC 3200)
80GB - Seagate SATA Hard disk

My system properties shows following like this,

System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2, (V.2149)

Registered to:

----------
----------

Computer:
AMD 64 3000+
1.79 GHZ, 448 MB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When i installed XP, these physical address extension was not found.
once i installed SP2, after only it shows like this.

My question is, What is Physical Address Extension...?

Is there any problem with this?
Can i continue my work?

What i have to do in this stage?

PAE enables an application to address more than 4GB of physical memory. Which means that, the applications are less likely to be swapped, which in-turn means more performance. This was enabled because ur amd processor supports it. So no harm done. Rest in peace.

I have the same config and I also get the same. This is shown because the mobo supports it.
