Default Driver problem....pls help!!

Very recently I bought an assembled PC:-
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (939)
MSI RS480M2-IL Motherboard
512 MB RAM
......
The Machine is working fine, but there is a problem with the integrated ATI Radeon 200 series graphics chipset....Whenever I play any game/movie that utilizes the graphics chipset, the machine restart in the mid of the game/movie or the application exits. There is certainly some hardware incompatibility problem...I used the latest driver from the recent SKOAR DVD but still the problem persists...pls help!!

I am having the same config and I have 3.4 version Bios + 5.7 catalyst for ati.

You can get the bios from:
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/produc...il.php?UID=639

and the latest catalyst from www.ati.com

This is because the GFX core crashes. It is just a PU and guess they have a lot of bugs. It tries to do a reboot and fails and so resets the machine.

This should not happen very often. Probebally because of using some function... Really strange.... But the original drivers on the CD did not do this.
