VCD making

Hi Guys
Problem No.1. whenever I create a VCD through Nero the cd does not run smoothly. It kind of stops, screeches and runs again with the picture geeting distorted at times.

Problem No.2. When capturing a video from PCTV the audio runs a few seconds later than the video i.e. the lips seem to move before the sound is heard

check wether the movie or video ur burning is good if the video is already distorted then it can cause problems
also does every vcd u create get the prob or only a few ???????

the prob herre is sound lag i havent used pctv however u can check the settings for sound and adjust the lag as required

I am using windowsxp(sp2) on a p4 machine with 2.4GHz with 256 RAM and 40 GB HDD. My original video is fine in MPG format but the burnt vcd is jerky and this happens for all vcds burnt.
