split streaming and thus increasing speed !!!!!
dude
we know that a downlaod manager downlaods the file by splitting it into four or more parts
and downlaoding all the split parts at a time
this increases the speed of the download
now
i want a stream player which can play streams by splitting the stream into parts and playing all the parts at a time
this will increase the streaming speed
is there any software which can do this for live audio listening on the web ?
so that the streaming speed increases ?

AFAIK, split streaming may not be available for viewing streaming content in realtime. But u may split download streams for offline viewing. U can do this using DownloadStudio.

By the way, expertno.1, are you able to watch aajtak news using the SDP urls you gave to me? I couldn't get the file to play, even after installing the original realplayer. Am i missing some codec or is it the links?
People, i'd really appreciate it if someone would give me a working link for aajtak news stream.
