Default Problems galore!

i don't know if this is the prob of my comp's hd or something else. whenever i install xp, it crashes within a week. i face all possible probs and i'm not able to use it. somebody help me plz!

How exactly does it crash? To check the drive for errors, run scandisk in "thorough" mode.

first of all make sure u dont hv a pirated copy of xp...that can b the reason

dude....That cannot be the reason for Windows to Crash !!...Run the Defrag First and Then as mentioned , Run ScanDisk . And a Clean Format afterwards..and Install XP frm Some Other CD....

hmmmmm seems like u install & uninstall a lot of softwares .so install 1 more software NORTON SYSTEM WORKS and check your registry for errors ..i am pretty much sure its a registry problem used to happen with me a lot ..update all ur hardwre drivers
