Adblock Refuses to get install over FF 1.0.6

well i had a reinstall of my OS... so i downloaded the FF updated version... well 2 my utter surprise i saw that the extension AdBlock wasnt getting install over this version... well 2 my confermation i saw their web site which is saing u need FF 1.0.4...

yes... so now i have to think of downgrading.....

but earlyer when i had FF 1.0.1 installed i updated it to 1.0.2 then .3 & to .6... as i had AdBlock previously installed it didnt had any trouble... but now when i am having a clean install of the 1.0.6 version so the adblock is refusing to get install...

so whats the point of updating??

U can add following lines in userContent.css file to block the ads.

but vishal will this work as adblock?? will i have the power to just right click upon a image or flash animation file to sign it as blocked ad..???

will it work same as original product??

there was, is & will b product like open office... but majority of the user will look for MS office...

I am looking for a way to get it install over the FF 1.0.6... & realy angry with FF development team.... whats the point of giving an update which isnt comportable with the exiting ADons....

It works perfectly!
And I can see an option Block images from xxxxx.com, whenever i right-click on ne image.
Its better than ad-block, cauz we don't hv to install an extension for it.

well i think this is a version mismatch problem.Wait a bit for new version of adblock.No way u should downgrade ur browser only for adblock.Use the mesures suggested by vishal as a temporary solution till then

well this the method suggested by vishal wont work as Adblock... as when blocking it will block all the image from the site...

take a exmaple... if i want to block just the avtar of sidewinder & hit the right click over it... the method will block all the image from thinkdigit.com... there isnt any option 2 block indivitual imgae or flash animation....
