Default Plz Comment on my New Config (Help with GFX too)

Hey guyz, I have finalized this configuration. Plz go thru it and also tell me if the price is ok.

Processor: Athlon 64 3000+ Venice: 7800
Mobo: Asus A8N E : 7250
RAM: Transcend 512 MB 400MHz : 2700
Hard Disk: Seagate SATA 80GB : 2950
GFX Card: Leadtek 6600 128MB (non GT): 7280
DVD Writer: Sony DRU 800A Writer : 3700
Monitor: ViewSonic E72F+ : 7100
Cabinet: Antec Super Lanboy : 5300
SMPS: Powersafe 400W : 1350
UPS: : 1800

Im not a hardcore gamer. So I am not gonna go to GT or higher card. Lanoby I love it. Got great looks. Antec PSU was exceeding my budget. I think Leadtek is better than XFX. I am wondering if I shoud go for a black machine or white. Because Lanboy cabby is silver in color. And the monitor has silver blue and black color. The monitor is aesthetically kool. So I do not wish to replace it with any other model. Any suggestions...

Approx prices

Processor: Athlon 64 3000+ Venice: abt 7250
Mobo: Asus A8N E : abt 8k
RAM: Transcend 512 MB 400MHz :
get 2 moduels ddr 400 ram, is transcend supported with this, corsair value select ,kingston (certain chips) etc have probs according to user guide, returned my corsair value select .
hynix d43,2300-2400 (check whether they are single sided or double sided and verify from user guide),also, see with everst and cpu-z if the moduels are genuine as there are fake hynix d43 chips in the market.
brand shd be orignal hynix and chips-d43
1gb from under 5k though at lotus or something i was charged over 6k,take from good source
transcend shd cst abt nearly 2900 or say 2850 sort of
take 512mb ddr 400 X 2 dual ch dimms with latencies as low as possible preferably highest you to take let be 3-3-3-8,
corsair xms can provide 2-2-2-5,geil has cas of even 1.5 may be now

Hard Disk: Seagate SATA 80GB : 2950
seagate sata ncq 160gb from 4150 when i bought it,though now in some place might be cheaper
also,200gb sata ncq may be faster
also,consider sata II

GFX Card: Leadtek 6600 128MB (non GT): 7280
try to get as much warranty and good servie if probs occur
xfx from rashi in delhi may be fine
6600 128mb /256mb pci-e(take with 128bit memory interface and not 64bit memory interface),say 6.5-8.5k
though 6600gt may even at times be 50%-almost twice as good for current or older games maybe.
6600gt is much better,big(oem bfg maybe) 8900+tax

DVD Writer: Sony DRU 800A Writer : 3700
why not take benq

Monitor: ViewSonic E72F+ : 7100
i got samsung 793mb (probably magic bright 2 ) for 7100 abt

Cabinet: Antec Super Lanboy : 5300
SMPS: Powersafe 400W : 1350
antec sl400/4500-3.5-4+k(
i bought sl450(25A on +12val ine on my psu, confrim rating from your antec dealer) for 4150

800va microtek - 2300
double battery or power whatever
maybe

nice rig ... everything is fine and since u have already mentioned u wont change the monitor so i am not suggesting anything else. go for a black machine , it will match wid the antec super lan boy ... white tends to get and look dirty as we r in INDIA..get a branded UPS such as APC. dont risk ur components by buying cheap protection. spend a bit more and get APC (600 VA should be sufficient for u) and ya Leadtek is better than XFX. so overall a nice good rig... p.s. : you can try bargaining on the cpu price (i think its a lil high).

If u r shelling out so much then why u r not going for a 160 gb sata hdd for a thousand buck extra? Who knows, 80 GB might become bottleneck for u one day.....and economically, Rs./GB ratio is also getting drastically low if u go for 160 GB.
