More than 2 Harddisk

Hi,
I want to know how to add more than 2 harddisk to a desktop pc. I dont knwo whether this question is answered in this forum. Please help me finding link otherwise.

Yes u can add more than 2 HDDs to a desktop machine. The max number of IDE drives u can add is 4 though. So u can have say 3 HDDs and a single cd/dvd rom/rw.

I dont know bout more than 4 HDDs. I know it can be done but not sure how. Prolly u need some kinda PCI card for an extra HDDs then. More info welcome.

Yep. U can actually add 4 ide devices. HDD and atapi drives being ide devices can be put into any of the four ide channels.
To add more than 4 ide drives, u will need a pci ide card or a pci raid card (or pci-express or isa card).
U can even use an external ide hdd casing to plugin ur hdds via usb.

well if u have a hdd and a cd rom then u can add two more hdd`s easily
only u`ll have to cofigure the primary and sec slave setting`s correctly
