Critical problem, Help

I am using winXP with SP2. All my a/v players are playing mp3 and other
audio files perfectly but while playing movies, it is playing only the video.
It is happening to all the players(Jet Audio, real player, WMP10 etc). Also it is not displaying any error. Please help.

P IV 2.4, 512MB DDR333, 865GBF original, GEForce 5200Fx, Techcom 5.1sound card(CMI).
