Default system32/drivers/pci.sys !!! Help !!!

Hi.

I have a little problem. Yesterday I was working on my computer after a some while my computer went to black screen. Then I restarted the computer by pressing the reset button. Now an error message "Windows could not load as the following file
system32/drivers/pci.sys apperas to be missing or corrupt." is comming.

I have tried to reinstall the OS (WIN XP Pro) after clearing the BIOS setup. It installed clearly. But after somtime it agin went to the previous state. I mean the error messaged appeared again.

Please help me.

try to replace pci.sys file getting it from others PC. The simple way is, take your hard disk to friend/relative and copy that file from theirs pc

this might solve the problem.
