Default im a new user plz tell me


Hi im a new user and m a nig fan of digit forum following r my querries
1)How can I store a dvd on my hdd in a reduced format i know this is called ripping but can i do it in using less hard disk space.Ive read a lot abt dvd ripping and there hundred thosand softwarez available i wud like ur opinion on which 1 is best effective and simple operate

Welcome to the forum have a nice time here.

As mariner said u can do that and if you want to retain the properties of a DVD u can make a virtual DVD of it and select the compression level at max.

try searching too
visit doom9.org
anyways long thing short ... the top 2 rippers are smart ripper and dvd decrypter
the all have their own pros and cons
well for using LESS disk space ...
u can try and removing unnecessary stuff like menus.. extras etc
use dvd shrink for this
