Default sdram or rdram?


a friend of mine has a p-ii machine,& he's plannin 2 sell it off.am interestd in the ram,& i wanted 2 know if a p-ii machine can have a rdram with a newer mobo?

No it can not.
You need to have a Intel 820 chipset based mobo to run RDRAM with PII but they have now been discontinued.

well if its a P2 then chances are that it has SD RAM@100Mhz only ..so guess you wont be able to switch to RD RAM....also there are less chances that the mobo will support SD RAM@133Mhz...
