integration of DAP 7.4 with opera 8.0browser

how to integrate dap 7.4 with opera 8.obrowser.i try to change the settings in preference window in dap.but it is not highlighted.pleaseeee helpppppppppppppppppp

i donno bout dap but i managed to get flashget working with opera 8.0
u get a plugin for flashget copy it into the opera\plugins direc.. and then change prefernces in opera maybe there`s a similar procedure for dap too

dap cant be integrated with opera versions above 6.
so u need to go back in updates of the browser if u wanna continue with dap else do the manual way of downloading.

This is wrong. There is a technique to integrate opera 7.x with DAP 7.x. But, I am unable to use this method on Opera 8.x.

thats gr8 news for me.
and yes to add to it:
try to add pdf, zip, rar and other extensions to dap too
but dont integrate rm and wmv files to dap as these are also used to stream video and music

now mine

1) copy the opera6.ini (opera/profile)file into operas main directory

2) rename it to opera.ini

3) use dap and integate..it wil work

4) now copy the opera.ini file back to the opera/profile direcotry and rename it to opera6.ini (remebr to delete the old one)

5) u r done

6) i am using dap 7.4 wiht this one now in opera

But, the question is which version of opera do you use? Did you integrate DAP with Opera 7.x and then upgrade it to 8.x.

I told you that there is a technique to integrate Opera 7.x with DAP 7.x. And what is described by expertno1 is the technique to integrate Opera 7.x with DAP 7.x. So, download Opera 7.x without java or with java then integrate with DAP 7.x and then upgrade Opera to 8.x.

hey guys do wat pally said and then even if u have dap watever versions and opera 8 then it still does the work. no need to install opera 7.x

I use Opera 8.02 and Flashget can be integrated with it.

integration od dap is actually very simple
in the connection tab just change the
USER AGENT to :
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 2000) Opera 7.0 [en]
as simple as that.
i am using opera 8.02 with dap 5.3

Hey...It doesnt happen In My case!

I have tried what Indyan said & the DE starts but the URL is not passed to it

Even if I have checked the option to pass URL !

Let me download a new version & then try (Download Express)
