Default doesnt firedox support GIF


doesnt firedox support GIF???

GIFs are not working in my browser!!!

GIFs work perfectly well in Firefox.

Are you using ZoneAlarm?

yes i m using zone alarm but how does that matter ???

actually i was trying something in my local machine only .... i know html well .... i was adding a gif placed in the same folder into a HTML file .....
and tried to open it in firefox and it didnt open ....
opened it in IE and it works ...

Zone Alarm Pro stops the animation from playing. There's some setting in their. Just check it out. I don't exactly remember it.

oh man .... its working now .... sud u giv the image path as file:///f:/Documents%20and%20Settings/arvindpr/Desktop/iinfi.gif

instead of F:\Documents and Settings\arvindpr\Desktop\iinfi.gif

EDITED:
i think FF doesnt recognise the second format !!!

yes FF doesnt recognize second format ..
that's coz its not windows explorer

In windows, IE and Windows Explorer exchange places when reqd
So, when u put www.google.com in 'my documents' window, it turns to IE and opens it.
and when you put F:\ in IE, it changes to Windows Explorer.

Firefox wont do it.
