NO "Open With" on right click! Pls Help me
When I right click i can't see 'Open With' option. please help me out with this
well to be more precise, i'm using Windows ME.
my problem is
if i right click on an HTML source file i wanna see something like this
open with -> notepad
HTML-kit

Choose program.
right now i don't have system mechanic  but will defly try that.

Try holding the SHIFT key while right-clicking.
Which OS? If XP, did u lose this option suddenly?

Thanks for ur suggestion! but it doesn't solve the problem! i want to see a list of programs under open with. it's not giving me any options

Hey use a software like System Mechanic or Winboost . There is an option named "Show Open With" or something like that. This can solve ur problem.

rajas has suggested registry changes. Desist from it if you are not an experienced user.
Just select a file. Now hold down the shift key when you right click. That will give you an option of "Open With"

It's already been sugessted and was reported unhelpful.

See if any of the symptoms mentioned here, here and here apply to you and follow the appropriate remedial steps if they do. And pray tell us your OS and the detail of ur problem.

well OS not mentioned but u can always try the softwares mentioned by q3_abhi winboost is a good one

There is a difference between shift + right click and select + shift + right click, at least in Win98.
You suggested the former, I suggested the later :roll:
