Anyone how to read a barcode ? or any barcode reading s/w available ?

Barcodes need Barcode Readers which are optical readers. It cant be read by using software alone.

Not at all. I've come accross a tutorial on how to read barcode by eye. Forgotten the link, but it can be done.

For s/w, adobe supports creation, addition and recognition of barcode images in their acrobat s/w.
