CD-ROM Problem

Today I have found that my CD ROM is getting in and comes out autometically. I restarted machine for several times. But this cannot solve my problem. My CD ROM worked fine yesterday. Can you tell me the problem and its solution?

it just might be a very old virus.make sure u hav a av software running.

May be a virus as said by Sidewinder. But even some softwares can do this.

Check if u have any CD eject n related sotware.

i had such a problem with my samsung cd rom but it was not due to some virus some part inside my cd rom had broken n dat was the reason
well i had to replace it donno about u

does it come out randomly or continuosly ????

Guess Samsung Drives are famous for all the wrong reasons these days.....

Is yours a Samsung too?

If it is you need not worry.Coz even though their Optical Drives su*k , their warranty & service rocks.

It must be probably a tray motor problem.

Just get it repaired or replaced.
