Default can a smps be repaired


i woukld like to know whether faulty smps power supplies can be repaired or we need to replace it.

Certain parts of SMPS if damaged can be changed.
I dont think a PCB can be repaired.

It can be repaired. Make sure you get good professional help on it.

I had my SMPS changed a few months back. The previous one malfunctioned due to some recurring current issue of the household. Not that I chose not to repair it... rather went for a replacement.

of course it can be, but better to buy a new one repairs will cost approx 100 Rs or more and a new one is just 350 Rs
