Converting TV to Computer monitor

Hi Friends,
Did somebody try converting televsion to monitor?
Tv works on different technology (Interlaced scanning ) while in our computer monitor its non-interlaced ....

Any ideas

I had used my tv for my monitor when my moitor had to be repaired. U need a grafx card with tv/out option to output to your tv. The output is mostly in the form of composite video out/s-video out.

If you mean watching TV on a PC monitor - not possible unless you have a TV Tuner Card in you PC.

If you mean using TV as you PC monitor - do as siriusb said. Get a graphics card with TV out. Text will look pathetic though. Totally unusable using Composite out , average using S-Video out and excellent if you have a HDTV and HDTV Component out on the card.
