Default Add or Remove Programs...

I have XP professional.
Recently I installed XP Service Pack 1a.

when i installed sp1a, the finishing stage was not installed properly. The system was hang. so i restarted the system.

After restarting, the system properties shows XP professional with Service Pack 1.

But, In control panel/ Add or Remove Programs, I'm not able to see the size of the Windows XP SP1a.

Now my question is, sp1a installed or not.

If i remove the sp1a, all my programs will go or what?

since the system properties show sp1 installed. its an educated guess that its been installed. when i had just sp1 installed, it didnt show the size in the add-remove programs. now take the next step, install sp2.
