Background Photo problem

The photo I scanned has a yellow background with the image in it..

I know the problem is with the scanner but I'd like the members here to recomend me a soln to remove that backgrouind and make it
normal. Maybe a software which can do the job.

Photoshop can do the job....

If only the background of the picture is yellow, then use magnetic lasso to select the yellow background and press Ctrl + U to adjust it's Hue/Saturation...

Decrease the saturation and increase the lightness...

That should do it....

m8, there is a light yellow background still.

R there any other softwares which does the job. This is really inportant as I have to upload it in a matrimonial website.
