Right Off the Assembly Line

Default Writer problem.


MY sony cd writer has spoilt the last 6 out of 10 cds. It stops writing and it says write error. This is the first time im getting such an error. im using nero. The following is the log which appeares. Please let me know when such errors occour. is it a software problem, hardware problem or the cd problem.

I think its a hardware prob, actually a prob wid sony. The lens becomes weak very soon. Even my sony died! But was in warrenty so got it repaired! Hope urs is in warrenty too!

please reinstall the software and the drivers of your cd writer... 8)

Re-install the software. If the problem persists check the writer. Formatting n re-installing sometimes can solve the problem (if not a hardware one).

Well as many other ppl said try reinstalling the software and drivers for ur CD writer and then also check ur power cable and Data cable try plugging them out and reconnecting them properly(i.e with ur computer power shutdown :-p ) & also try using a lens cleaner if all this dosent work give ur writer for servicing
